We act as the client’s project manager across the RIBA Plan of Work stages, directing the consultant team and the supply chain so that the asset is delivered as specified and handed over ready for use.
Clear authority, disciplined process
Projects fail for reasons that are visible early: a brief that was never fixed, a decision no one owned, a risk that sat in a register without a mitigation. Delivery improves when responsibility is assigned at the outset and enforced throughout.
We establish the governance before work begins. Scope, schedule, budget and risk are baselined, stage gates are set against the Plan of Work, and reporting lines are agreed so that every party knows what is expected of them and when. Our practice follows PMI principles, applied proportionately to the size of the commission.
Through delivery we chair the design and site meetings, administer the contract, manage change, and report progress, cost and risk in a single view. Issues are raised while they can still be resolved, and decisions are put to the client with the options and consequences set out.
